Ooc: Lol, its alright.
IC: Dervious watched Syrenea's reaction to this odd place and he was liking every bit of it. She liked the place and her curiousity in it definitly showed how well a partner and soulmate she would be. "Well now you seem to still like the place," he stated before chuckling. "Come on, we should get some sleep; tomorrow we can explore the place even more, I would also like to visit Wynd and his mate and see how they are doing," he said after he noticed Syrenea yawning.

(OOC: Surrrre ya are. XD)
"I know...it's just so strange. I think I heard a legend of this place once. It said that each of these gems was some sort of fragment of what was once a greater power. Some of my clan said that it was the first Immortal Good Leader, who turned himself into these gems so that nobody would forget him. But that's just a legend...interesting, though." Syrenea finished; she wondered about that legend she had heard; it was only as a chick, and the Thyrval prefered facts to myths, so she hadn't heard it since.
Syrenea yawned again. "Okay..." She said, the peaceful atmosphere quickly making her tired. Stalking over to her soulmate, she kissed Dervious tenderly, resting her forepaw on his, clutching his paw.
"Good night, love." She said, curling up next to him.

Dervious watched as Syrenea curled up next to him and bid him good night before quickly going in to a deep slumber. He smiled at the thought of having a loving partner to do research with, a soulmate to love. He didn't need to worry as of yet, only to keep her safe. The immortal dragon curled up next to Syrenea and closed his eyes, eager to see what tomorrow would bring.

The next Day...(OOC: I Guess.)
Syrenea yawned, stretching her maw wide. What time was it? She couldn't really tell, the opaque ceiling of the gem making it impossible to tell whether the cloud of darkness was here or not, and thus, time didn't really matter either. She felt Dervious' form next to hers, and she wondered, what was life going to be like? She felt so immature at Thyrval, and Dervious' ability to make her feel like she was really an adult was nice. She couldn't wait to see where they would go, what they would learn. She looked at him; he was still sleeping. She cuddled closer to him, letting thoughts run through her mind, absently letting herself embrace him. Was she immortal? She didn't want them to live a long life, and then find out that she would die; Dervious wouldn't live with the grief, she knew. Was there a way to find out if she inherited her father's immortality? Maybe Dervious would know; he had copius knowledge in almost any topic, after all. She sighed into his furry chest; she liked his fur; it gave off a comforting scent to her, and with her next breath, the scent of her lover calmed her. Syrenea tentaviely pulled her head away from his chest, and moved her snout next to his ear.

Dervious's dream was calm, no harsh d ark tormenting nightmares seemed to plague his mind so long as Syrenea was there, next to him. Calm dreams were a rarity to him and when they came they often offered him peace and serenity for the whole of the day. Right in the middle though, when he was about to get a drink out of a cool, bottomless pond that seemed to reflect a beautiful night sky, he thought he heard his love's voice echo in his thoughts. He paused glancing around and slowly the dream faded into a calm darkness. Dervious opened his eyes slowly, aware of little noises made and for a short moment he had no idea here he was or how he got there but then memories hit him. He lifted his head glancing around almost in panic, for fear that something had happened to Syrenea but no, she was fine and seemed more then calm right beside him. He let out a sigh of relief and nodded. "Now I am," he said in a drowsy. His gaze traveled to the water before them, a small pond but a deep one that allowed them to leave the crystal-like chamber. He turned towards Syrenea, stretched a wing around her. "For a moment I almost thought you were in trouble," he said closing his eyes and thanking all that was good, that she wasn't.

"No, I'm okay, Dervious." She whispered back, accepting his embrace. There was something so...serene, something so calm and good in this place. The fact that she could see the beautiful fish around her, the feeling was strange; being surrounded by water but breathing air. She let out a sigh, letting her paw touch Dervious' gently.
"Sorry for waking you up...But, I wanted to know...your home, Dervious? Didn't you live in the Neutral part of Garegon Cave? What about...your parents, or your friends? Can we meet them?" She asked curiously; Dervious had never really been open about his past, and Syrenea was beginning to wonder; was Dervious just shy? Did he have a depressing past? She let her muzzle touch his gently before letting herself stare into his eyes; her reflective blue pools staring into his icier look; she always wanted him to open up; she wondered how she had gotten his heart to open to her. Or was it? Did he even completely trust her? She wondered...it was possible...Tears began to fill her eys at the thought. She tried to resist, but soon, a few wet drops fell from her muzzle to his chest.
"D-do you trust me, love?" She asked, returning his winged embrace. She didn't know if she was acting like a crybaby, but the notion that he would want to hide anything from her...She had let him have her heart, and now, she wondered, if Dervious would let her have his.

Dervious restrained from yawning as he listened to Syrenea and almost immediately he felt his heart twist with shame at the thought of keeping his life away from her. "Of course I trust you! Don't ever let anyone tell you other." he said firmly. "First of all, I used to live in the Neutral part of Garegon cave, long ago when I was a mere dragonling with my parents. I spent most of my time watching others train when I wasn't allowed out of the cave. I did depart from home, or what used to be my home. I travel now, no home and I find it very relaxing that I don't have to worry about territory," he began. After a few short moments he continued, "As for my parents; they were kind and loving but seemed so busy. Few times they brought me out to explore but more then often they were out patrolling and constantly making sure no problems emerged. I don't they are there anymore but I'm not really sure. As for my friends, well noe I haven't really got many as I normally hide from others to study their activities but I have met two, one a half-dragon and the other, rather...annoying at first but he is indeed a kind fellow," he said, chuckling.

"...What do you mean, what is left? What happened to your home?" She asked, captivated by the story of the immortal; the truth was, she really wanted to meet his family, friends, and to see his home. But...was it gone? Destroyed, attacked? And where were his parents? Even though Syrenea had issues with her parents in Thyrval, she did still miss them. The instinct picked up during childhood were hard to get rid of, even as a young adult. She missed her parents, the few friends she had, and her teacher, msot of all; she was tough, all right, and her words were often harsh, but they were a good pair; working together, they were very good healers. She wondered, did Dervious miss his parents? Wasn't he worried? She shifted closer to him, sighing as she did. She breathed deeply, the male's familiar scent flooding her nostrils. Thyrval was known for it's powerful sense of smell, as well as it's knowledgable scholars. Syrenea knew the scent of her love well now; it was something heavy, but without being overbearing...It seemed very comforting, very dominating and strong.
"Dervious...I want to know you. Dervious, tell me more...Because, I think..." She buried her head in his furred chest, the scent overpowering...
"I've decided, Dervious. Loving you isn't enough...I want to mate with you." She said, tears filling hers eyes; would he accept? Was she going too fast? She knew, the her body was readt for a male, as was her heart. She remembered back when her held her in Thyrval, how her heart swelled, and she cried in his arms at the beauty of the moment; one day, she had been just an average girl, until this handsome male came and stole her heart away. She used to dislike males, and now, she was begging for one to mate her.
"Please. You have my heart and mind...Please, I want you to have my body as well."

Dervious was silent for a moment, listening to Syrenea and replaying the words in his head. Although it seemed more of a partial shock to him, he still embraced her words with open arms. Syrenea seemed more than ready and Dervious was more than ready. He closed his eyes releasing a breath of air he didn't even realize he was holding. No, there weren't really any words to describe how he felt right now nor did he find any words to say to her, he merely tightened his embrace around her, not wanting her to leave him, ever. No, he had never had a mate before but learning was all the more fun. The silence around them was welcoming and seemed to rid him of any troublesome thoughts. The only thing he could really think of was Syrenea at this point in time.

(OOC: So post in the topic I made.)
Syrenea sighed, knowing that Dervious would gladly mate with her; the greatest happiness she ever felt shot through her body; soon, maybe she would be pregnant...She let herself sink into his embrace, loving the warmth he gave her, and the love she knew was going through him at this moment. She stared into his eyes, and could no longer resist. She let her maw slide over his, losing herself in the warmth of his mouth...Before she knew it, the feelings she had joined with this kiss, and if they had seen themselves, they would have seen that it looked not like a kiss between mere lovers, but between mates, whose souls had molded and been shared with each other.
Only after what felt like hours did the passion end. She reluctantly drew her tongue and maw away from his, and tears were in her eyes; he loved her, all doubt washed away when he had kissed her back with such passion. His normally ice cold eyes gave her warmth in her heart. She smiled, hugging her love tightly, his wings and forelimbs wrapped around her. She felt so secure, the large male's embrace both loving and protective. She had never wanted to be the submissive type, but she loved it now; the male's dominance made her feel loved and protected.
"Want to finish our examinations here?" She asked, still clinging tightly to him. She never liked males before, but Dervious wasn't like other males; he loved her for her, not for her body, like most males did. He was compassionate, he was caring, he was everything she never thought she'd find. But now, he was with her, and she loved him even more for it.
"Dervious?"
"I love you...so much...thank you...for having me for a mate."

Dervious didn't know how it happened; one minute he was sleeping and the next he was embracing his mate, love pulsing in both of their hearts. He didn't want the moment to end but he knew it would after they departed out of this serene place. Syrenea's voice when she spoke seemed harmonic to Dervious's ears at this moment. "If I didn't have you as a mate, I would be forever lost," he whispered softly. He knew he probably would be, lost in exploring, never knowing what love was. "Perhaps it would indeed be best if we did. I believe a friend lives close by, in this area, perhaps we could try and find him?" Dervious asked unsure if Syrenea would want to or not.
