WOOHOO! HYDRA! *jumps up and down* THANKS REIGN FOR THIS KICK-ARSE STUFFEHS!

And, then, of course, here comes my new idea:

Crarrob, Corvus malachitacea-

Half crow, half blue-bellied parrot, this bird is very rare. There seems to be only a hundred and twenty or so left, most hanging around Treeforge and some in the Humans' Realm. Wide, yellow eyes peek out from a shiny, black-feathered face. A few blue stripes cross the back and lead to the soft blue belly.

-_- Yersh. I, uh, couldn't think of much, ok? *runs out*

K we still need more plants in Thyrval and Gabali, maybe more in Treeforge -cough-trees-cough-, and Aresanesh. Common plants may involve the usual.

Species, anything your little hearts desire! Now the fatal question of should we have some of these species playable and if so, which ones (includes sub-species). Also this new list is to organize it a bit better. Each post represents a different clan and its Flora and Fauna

Common Flora and Fauna

Flora

Withies: Reed-like plants found growing in shallow fresh-water areas and marshes. The root contains a powerful stimulant that it used to help weak dragons get back in shape, and can also be taken casually for energy-boosts.

Fellis: A flowering tree that's fruit can be made into a juice that acts as a soporific; that is, it can cause sleep quickly and has many uses.

Numbweed: A medicinal shrub that, when smeared on a wound, kills all sensation; used as an anesthetic.

Nymphwood
A delicate flower that grows in any kinds of body of water. It's roots are actually made up of small little groves that organisms inhabit. That create a symbiotic relationship with the plant. It gives the organism shelter and is fed by the scraps of food that are left behind. The nyphwood will only grow in water, or any other moist habitat. It is a very beautiful plant, it's petal are a whitish-pink color with an outline of red at the very ends. The petals also lye on top of one another folding inward till it reaches the center and swirls upward like a rose. This plant is good for curing most things like stomachaches and fatigue but in more serious cases if to much of the root is consumed it causes a posion itself from the organism living there.

Peppersprout-

A stocky, gnarled fat trunk-like thing without the bark reaches up almost 4 feet high, a voilet dappled with some light oranges. Thick hot pink petals twist to the ground, exposing the inner petals and 'pepper'. The inside petals are much smaller, daintier, and amazing scarlets, red-oranges, and maroons.

Inside this ring of second petals are brittle little seeds and something dark. The seeds of Peppersprout, when cooked, prove to cause a fever when consumed. However, the dark powder beneath the seeds has amazing healing powers for headaches if stirred properly in water and is great for bruises if mixed right with alcohol.

Rubush

The rubush is a small bush that can be found on almost any terrain except for that of Aresanesh. It is a dark ivy green with irridescent flakes on it that can make noses sneeze and eyes burn. If hit or touched it will usually leave many detachable blue thorns in one's fur/scales/ etc. Sometimes easy to get out but if it pierces the skin, usually it will inject a bacterial sickness known as the cold.

Rumaroom(Don't laugh. Or I'll break your arm. Ok... Not really!)

Rumaroom, indeed, is a mushroom. Like in some cartoons, big, red spots cover the mushroom, their taste the flavor of strawberries. The rest is a simple yellow, banana flavor. The mushroom in total size is around 30 feet wide, long enough for some dragons to sleep on, and even with it's creamy middle, it is quite stable. Cream, you ask? Yes, thats in the MUSHROOM! EEK! But, in reality, its really quite delicious.

Seracan's Flora and Fauna

Flora

Uchachu Serk- Named for its delicious taste for any animal willing to eat a plant (herbivors), the Uchachu Serk has long thorns that protect it from creatures. The petals are sticky and pointed but are quite large and stunning to view do to the irridescent colors or blue and green it contains. The blue outlines the petals while the green stays inside the blue. The leaves are soft enough to sleep on and are often used for wound bandaging for Seracan. It isn't the best part to eat though, but the petals are used for internal diseases such as Scamp. This plant mostly grows in shallow lakes and usually pokes its head above the water.

Feathertail- The name was retrieved do to the illusion of feathery leaves. They look much like feathers in their shape but aren't and aren't tasty. Its more of a vine than a plant and has no petals, only leaves and usually exists around marshy areas. The vine isn't large but can be consumed by plant eating creatures.

Burning Maple- No this tree isn't on fire but the leaves, if consumed can hurt very badly during digestion and its a good idea that you only use it to take out any venom injected into a dragon or other creature. It will burn of course and swell up but it removes venom from the system in a matter of days and can slow down effects. The Burning Maple appears like it had been sitting under water for years do to a soggy appearance but it's leaves are dark almost crimson red near the stem and branch out to a bright green.

Waterweed- You would wonder why its called Waterweed. This aquatic plant exists only in deep parts of lakes and streams and ponds. Its a transparent color that is rarely seen but you will feel it has seeds that aren't very transparent but do cling on to one's scales. They don't really do any harm but can be quite annoying. You can consume them but they aren't really for anything.

Necerius- A carnivorous and noisy plant that is normally found in deep flooded areas. They can be recognized as howlers which is a noise that they make. It sounds like howling usually after it consumes a small mammal or insect. It has round large leaves that are about the size of a lilypad. The carnivorous part are the flowers. They appear beautiful, coming in many shades of blue, green, red, and yellow and the worst are highly irridescent. THe flower when trying to be consumed by some creatures, will literally snap shut and appear as though it hadn't bloomed but really it tries to consume whatever it caught. SOme don't make it out of that and are consumed and taste like rocks to carnivorous creatures but are marvelous to herbivors. The plant, mainly the petals are good to use for open wounds and internal wounds, it can stop bleeding and slow down internal diseases.

Fauna

Wallower- Its an odd creature this one. It has webbed front claws but four scaley fins. It has a long tail that a tad bit longer than it and, the tail ends with two fin-like fringes. The creature is covered in black fur with a slimey coat over the top for swimming. It has two eyes that have a second pair of eyelids for protection from water when its swimming. Its eyes are a pure black and it has a very flat bill for searching for worms and other things in mud. Inside the bill though, is rows of shard teeth and a pointed tongue.

Scottler(Things with 'ottle' in them seem to be stuck in my mind right now, don't they?), formal name: Cauda Bambini d'argento-

A little Beaver-look-alike, this be. A rough, mud-brown pelt reaches to the ankles and tail of this odd little creature to it's ears. The tail is a thick, black pad. But the face is nothing like a Beaver's. Not even close. Silver, blue, and grey furs reach all the way to it's stomach, but it's features are suprisingly beaver-ish besides the eyes. The eyes... Something about them is so human, so intelligent, so understanding, and they range from light chocolate brown to a leaf green.

The phrase 'water-creature' pops up when one sees a Scottler, and indeed, they are. Existing on a diet of fish, Scottler are three times the size of normal Beavers.

Treeforge's Flora and Fauna

Flora

Agenotree: The most common, tall tree in Treeforge, and in other clans, can grow some 50 meters high in Treeforge, but is considerably shorter elsewhere, and the bark is very hard and thick, and the trees seem to be useless. But, in Treeforge, they have a way of cutting the bark precisely, and it can be used to stop bleeding.

Fauna

Eragos(Ru Bats)-

Also called Ru Bats, Eragos are actually monkeys of sorts. Living in Treeforge has them adapted to tree life well. They have wild and messy fur, brown with greenish to white stripes. But the wings are the most striking features of this species. Covered in fur, hot red lines streak up and down and, indeed, these wings are used to fly. Not for long distances, mind you, but simply short flights and leaping from branch to branch. OOH! And don't forget the tail! It is FIVE feet long, used for grabbing fruit, swinging off branchs, and whipping enemies.

Uncia jubatus venaticus more commonly known as the mighty Rinmbon (RIN-MM-BUN)

A jungle cat found in vast amounts in the treeforge. A sleek all brown coat adorns this fierce creature, making it blend in with its jungle environment. This is is three times bigger than a Siberian tiger and twice as strong than one as well. It can jump stealthily from tree branch to tree branch when chasing its prey and when the prey is caught it will play with the food before trying to devour it. Some say that this cat, much like the leopards, have a third eye in between the two primary ones. But the same that say this also input that this eye will only open when the cat senses great power from you. These animals are a truly mystical sight to behold and if one was to befriend a Rinmbon they would have good luck forever or so the stories say.

Gabali's Flora and Fauna

Flora

Angel's Wings-

A blooming 8 and a half feet, Angel's Wings stands proud in cold regions, mostly in Gabali clan territory. A tough bark like the bark of birch trees raps around the tough tree. The leaves are almost completely transparent, with pale, blue vein-like lines running from tip to tip. The leaves curl around delicate snow-white and sky-blue flowers and delicious fruit that tastes like orange mixed with banana mixed with watermelon, pale pink and round.

Fauna

Snow Serpent

Otherwise known as Trisclus, the snow serpent is a pale gray and white. Its designs are different but it is an owner of thick scales and a third eyelid for blizzards. The snow serpent can travel beneath thick layers of snow or above but it isn’t made for swimming or flying. It can consume its food whole or chew it with long transparent razor-sharp teeth and a forked gray tongue. The size of the snow serpent is along the average size of a snake to the size of a dragon’s win. Its eyes are in variations of black to white and can prove to be a good defense when scaring a victim with its hypnotic stare.

Sarscraper

A bird of pure white feathers and white eyes and a white beak. Its not a large bird but not small either. About the size an eagle, a golden eagle to be precise with a beautiful voice. Its voice represents its mood. When happy it sings different songs, but when angry, its voice is a shrill and loud shriek that echoes throughout the area. The bird, when it sees a predator during its flight, immediately drops down and into the snow being very still and quiet. When it feels the danger has passed do to sensitive hearing, it pops right back into the air and is off on its way. This happens many times and is very successful but at times it is caught on its dive and is killed because it tries to pretend its dead.

Prine

Odd name for a cat, but this cat is one that prowls and fights to the death. It is a very sly creature, often using the snow for defense. Its claws are longer than one may suspect and they cannot be retracted. Its ears are pointed and its pelt is white and gray. Its tail isn’t very long and it appears to have a mane. This cat has long whiskers as well and long legs and long fur. Basically it’s a stealth cat depending on nature and its own claws.

Loner Area's Flora and Fauna

Flora

Gottles-

Tasty, tiny, purple fruits that grow in the Loner Areas, Gottles are quite delicious, a fantastic grape flavor. Gottles grow on a vine, and are the size of grapes, but not quite the same, because, despite their supposedly harmless nature, they carry alcohol... YES, it IS true. IT helps get dragons drunk, and if enough are consumed by a pregnant dragoness, something may be wrong with the eggs, and maybe the result will be in the form of a malformed chick.

Aresanesh's Flora and Fauna

Flora

Fauna

Phoenix

The Phoenix is in many cases described as an orange and red feathered bird that is on fire. It is and isn’t the truth. The male phoenix is the flaming one and its fire is used to attract mates, mainly depending on how high the fire is. The fire doesn’t harm one but it can make predators think it can burn. The females have no flame but a beautiful song they sing for males to find. Both are songbirds but the female’s voice is like a river running smoothly. The males also have a red crest somewhat similar to a tropical bird known as the thingyatiel. They are large birds that nest in mainly fiery volcanoes but at other times a darker place. They are immune to fire which also makes them such a great bird.

Lava Lizard

Small but amusing, the lava lizard comes in different variations of colors. The largest lava lizards are the color of lava and rock and glow brightly. Their eyes are either a black void or red hot coal. The small lava lizards come in colors of red, gray, black, colors of the flames, or colors of rock. They aren’t smart to eat because their blood is like lava, it burns but can be used to heal burns because they swim in lava.

Magmorm

The name is similar to a worm because the creature is defined as a worm. It has a pointed nose which is the easiest way to tell the back from the front and it has a rocky type of skin. The worm is blind but it can feel vibrations in the earth and hear very well do to several holes along its sides. It is a large and long worm and can prove to be difficult to fight in battle. The pointed head is lined with several sharp spikes which allow it to move in the earth be it soil of rock but it isn’t immune to lava which is why it may be able to feel vibrations in case of an eruption.

Thyrval's Flora and Fauna

Flora

Fauna

Sand Snarler

A canine to be exact. It has a thin appearance but extraordinary power and speed. Its ears are round and its fur is as sharp and pointed as a cactus’s needles. For speed it has a long thin tail and for strength it has powerful muscles and sharper claws and teeth. Its smelling, hearing, and sight are all very extraordinary and it can be considered ‘the Death Hound’ by some small dragons because of how many times it attacks them. Sometimes this hound travels in packs but usually is alone and its snarl is loud and vicious.

Derago

A mimic of a dragon but it isn’t considered a dragon because of hind paws, and front claws and a bushy tail. It does have scales but the fur pokes out of the crevices and thus gives it an appearance ewith more short fur. Its wings are larger than its boy by a foot and are furry. They hang at its sides because folding them would result in a decrease in movement but the wings are excellent for flying. The claws for the derago are curled are sharp and its paws are used for running short distances because of its weight. Its eyes and face are that of a dragons and the scales dominate on this part of the body. It owns horns and other different crests along with sharp teeth and a knowledge of speaking common. Its voice is somewhat soft and harsh at the same time and it is otherwise known as the cat dragon.

Rogue Land's Flora and Fauna

Flora

Retlegrain
A very rare green and red desert flower that is usually only found in arid regions, such as the rogue lands. This kind of plant would most likely be found under the sand , hence it is rare, but sends a travler root to the surface that will sprout an unusual type of cacti, the cacti itself gives off a foul odor which isn't poisonious but isn't plesant either. Once dug up grind the plant into a fine powder and mix with the leaf of a burning maple to cause an explosive powerful enough to knock a medium sized dragon to the floor. Mix this flower powder with a pasty substance and you would have a weak quick drying cement to hold anything together for atleast a day before it breaks off. The leaves of this plant jut from the cacti giving ample room to dig.

Species

Karg

Also known as Stonedwellers, these three feet high creatures can only be described as human-like things. They come in many different kinds of creatures but with the same intention. Karg dwell in different regions depending on their sub-species. The main kind of Karg is a lizard-like human. It is hunched over slightly with different variations of colors but always a rough lumpy skin-like scale texture. It has sharp teeth and shiny black eyes. It has five clawed fingers and clawed toes connected to feet. Its legs are like a humans but instead of standing using heels, this creature uses the front base of its feet which gives it an increase of speed when running. It can hold various items and speaks in a gutteral tone called Karish. It can speak common but its common is usually hard to distinguish. Kargs live in small groups usually with a chief and a shaman. They believe in holy spirits that are dragons but have no alliance, only personalities which sort them into those groups of alliances. The holy spirits are actually live dragons within the Immortal realm but Kargs don't live there. They live in the mortal realm and can be seen from Aresanesh to Seracan's territory. The Karg also have foot long flat spikes that run down its spine and many different crests. Female Kargs can easily be distinguished from their thinner appearance, longer teeth and a cross on their head which is usually there from birth and easily noticable. The groups that Kargs live in have no names but engraved markings. The Shaman's markings are easily found all over his body. They are usually in Karish and images. Kargs carry weapons which are usually stone spears or sharp stone-like daggers. They aren't well with sneaking but can run very fast and are known to jump as high as ten feet! The 'Stonedweller' name comes from their love of stone. They live in caves, in piles of rocks, in stone huts. Anything they can find of stone, they use in one way or another.

Sub-Species of the Karg

Karg-wolf

As similar to the karg. They have the same shape but instead of scales, spikes, and crests, they hav fur, wolf-like ears, a furry tail, and different shades in their fur. The color of their fur also comes in many colors, ranging from white to black, blue to green, etc. The markings are engraved and can be depicted through the fur. The female's cross on their head turns into a cross above their nose.

Karg-cat

Fur, longer claws, ears, shorter snout, whiskers, sharp teeth but sleeker tails. These feline-like Kargs are all the same, they have different patterns and colored eyes with pupils. They speak more common than Karish but their symbols are the same. The cross on the female's snout had moved to its chest, the fur isn't there where the thin cross is so it is easy to distinguish.

Karg-Bird

Not fur or scales, these are feathery avian Kargs. They still have tails but that is more of being called tailfeathers. These avian bird Kargs are distinguished from their sharp bird-of-prey-like beaks and their eyes. They have ear tufts and feathered legs but those feathers stop at the ankles where talon takes over. Their claws are like talons as are their feet and those are the longest and sharpest as they come. THeir voice is high-pitched like a scream. The female avian Karg is distinguished because its beak is shorter than the male's but only by a few inches.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arachxiong-

Arachxiong is a sort of panda spider, with the head of a panda, the eyes of a spider, the legs of a spider, and the tail of a scorpian. Adult Arachxiong grow to be around 6-7 feet, the shorter ones being 4-5. A new born Arachxiong weighs about 120 pounds, and is 3-5 feet tall. At nine months of age young spider pandas can walk and hunt for themselves, existing on their mother's milk, nuts, fruit, and big bugs until they grow up to 1 year and a half.
I mentioned a scorpian tail, didn't I? And, yersh, the poison does work because of these little poison pouches just below and beside the tail. At five months the pouches are fully developed and ready for use, as Arachxiong are rather tasty, as some dragons have found out. And, in fact, cannibalism isn't that uncommon among Arachxiong, who live in packs. Sometimes its actually necessary, considering they travel wherever.

Cetacea gladius or Royal Hydra
A creature that stands around twenty- thirty feet tall. A sea serpent found in very deep oceans and trenches, ravines and even in large rivers. Royal Hydra comes in a variety of different colors, though the most common have been blue or green. As infants these humongous creatures start out to disguised as water snakes so that enemy won't harm them. The creatures features change as they get older, a long neck the resembles a brontosaurus, a set of immovable fins are placed at the sides of their neck, a long snout that looks like that of a dragons, a circler body with paddle feet. and a serpent like tail. http://www.caroluk.co.uk/gallery/ness.jpg It has been claimed to have been seen in the human realm.

Gryphon (Griffin, Griffen) Image: http://neondragonart.com/Art/wall/squeezy_gryphons_800x600.jpg
Half feline and half avian, mainly along the lines of birds of prey. A gryphon is a carnivorous bird with sharp beaks. They have ear tufts on their head, bird-like eyes. Their forelegs are bird-like with large talons to grip prey. Their hindlegs are that of a large feline for leaping into flight with large feathered wings. They have the tail of a feline. Their head to their neck and forelegs are full of feathers but those change quickly into fur from the body to the tail. The wings are of course feathers and their call is loud and can echo for miles. Gryphons live in prides(rarely considered flocks). Many can be alone though and found in the Nono Savannah and other various places in the Mortal and Immortal realm. Their blood is usually used to simmer stomach pains and head aches. A gryphon can speak common in a very clear voice. A female gryphon can be recognized because of them having cat-like eyes instead. Their homes usually depend on their type of feline in them. Snow leopards naturally go in Gabali's territory.

Oh I had a thought for later on, you know how Defyre's mome
Ru-something, was making gryphons, well, perhaps her plan could back-fire a little. And create these:

http://yerf.com/uploads/vermtrac/tribal-drakonian.jpg
And these as well:

Able to walk upright, and they turn on her after a while.
I'll leave the really indepth details up to you if you want to use the idea at all.

Just thought i'd throw mine in the pot and see what became of them.

Hmm good idea because Defyre's mom loves gryphons so she could create some of these and more! They speak common because they don't exactly have their own language but they learn to fight in their own ways and plan! Whatdya think TP?

Heh, relax there. I'm still working on the homepage but when I find time in to do that, I surely will make the forums for it.
